The Monsal Trail April Half Marathon is organised by Nice Work. As well as there being a 10K option,
there is an identical event on the Saturday.
Monsal Trail April Half Marathon Route
Starting and finishing at Bakewell, runners follow an undulating, out-and-back off-road course.
Surrounded by amazing scenery, the route follows the Monsal Trail, made up from a former Midland Railway line,
through four tunnels and across the spectacular Monsal viaduct.
