The Dumfries Half Marathon is organised by Dumfries Running Club. It was first run in 1981.
Dumfries Half Marathon Route
Runners start and finish at Dumfries & Galloway College, Crichton Grounds, Bankend Road.
It is a flat, sometimes hilly one lap race, leading runners out into the surrounding countryside.
They then come back along the side of the river, towards the finish line.
